My professional life’s work has been teaching children and adults artistic skills and knowledge. I am founder and creator of the True Child Art concept. I have taught K-12 children in elementary and museum classrooms and adults in professional development courses

at many universities in California. 

I received a BA in Art and Secondary Education Credential from California State University San Diego (CSUSD); a General Elementary Credential from Chapman University and a MA in Art Education from California State University Long Beach (CSULB).

My museum and art education programs were recognized by the California Art Educators Association (CAEA) and the National Art Education Association (NAEA).
